dc.description.abstract | This research finds that employees do not optimally complete their task an time. They do not respond to the instructions and are not able to solve any work problems. The objective of the research is to find out the effect of work capacity, superior-subordinate relationship, and work situation on work performance, using job satisfaction as intervening variable, at Bank Syariah Indonesia, Medan Raya Area. The research employs quantitative method and path analysis. The samples consist of 42 respondents, and the data are acquired through the distribution of questionnaires. The result of the research shows that, partially, work capacity has positive and significant effects on work satisfaction, superior-subordinate relationship has positive and significant effects on work satisfaction, and work situation has positive and significant effects on work satisfaction. Simultaneously. work capacity, superior-subordinate relationship, and work situation have positive and significant effects on work satisfaction at at Bank Syariah Indonesia, Medan Raya Area. Partially, work capacity has positive and significant effects of work performance, superior-subordinate relationship has positive and significant effects on work performance, and work situation has positive and significant effects on work performance. Partially, work satisfaction has positive and significant effects of work performance. Simultaneously, work capacity, superior-subordinate relationship, work situation, and work satisfaction have positive and significant effects on work performance. Partially, superior-subordinate relationship has positive and significant effects on work performance with work satisfaction as intervening variable. Partially, work situation has positive and significant effects on work performance with work satisfaction as intervening variable.
