dc.description.abstract | The human development index plays an important role in measuring or determine achievement in the development of quality of life and ranking development of a country. With increasing level of passage forming the human development index will be very influential to all aspects both in terms of quality of life, health, longevity and human resource quality improvement. This study aims to determine what is the expected number of years of school, average length of school, expenses per capita affects the human development index in Indonesia. Method carried out in this study is a descriptive method, data that used is secondary data on the related Central Bureau of Statistics reports human development index data, expected years of schooling, average years schools and per capita spending from 2019-2020. data that obtained is data per month from South Tapanuli district. The results of this study indicate that the expected length of schooling has a significant effect on the Human Development Index in North Sumatra Province for the 2012-2022 period contributing 35%. The average length of schooling has a significant effect on the Human Development Index in North Sumatra Province for the 2012-2022 period contributing 84.2%. Per capita spending has a significant effect on the Human Development Index in North Sumatra Province for the 2012-2022 period contributing 76.2%. The results of the study also simultaneously have a significant effect at a significant level of 5% on the human development index | en_US |
