| dc.description.abstract | Trash is one of the factors that causes environmental damage and natural
disasters such as floods and environmental pollution. The trash problem that occurs
in Sari Rejo Village is the absence of an appropriate waste management system, lack
of direction and unavailability of facilities for waste management. Apart from that,
the lack of knowledge about proper waste management and the lack of information
about temporary waste disposal sites (TPS) makes residents accustomed to throwing
their trash into rivers in the surrounding area. This causes rivers to overflow,
causing flooding when the rainy season arrives. The Waste Management Information
System is one of the innovations in dealing with the waste problem that occurs in the
Sari Rejo sub-district. This application makes it easier for residents to dispose of
their rubbish on a scheduled and routine basis, thereby creating a more beautiful,
clean and comfortable environment because it is free from rubbish and other
