dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Regional Original Revenue, General Allocation Fund, Special Allocation Fund, and Budget Financing Surplus on the poverty rate in the Highlands Regency / City of North Sumatra Province. The type of research used in this research is quantitative and the type of data used is secondary data obtained from the official website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of the Regency / City of North Sumatra Province which has been published and other literature such as books, and economic journals and sourced from the Regional Government Financial Statements (LKPD) of districts / cities in North Sumatra Province which have been audited by BPK RI through the website https://portal.bpk.go.id/. The financial statements used are LRA from 2018 to 2022 and the official website https://djpk.kemenkeu.go.id/. The results of this study indicate that PAD has a positive effect on the poverty rate in the Highland Region Regency / City of North Sumatra Province, DAU has a negative effect on the poverty rate in the Highland Region Regency / City of North Sumatra Province, DAK has a negative effect on the poverty rate in the Highland Region Regency / City of North Sumatra Province, and SiLPA has a negative effect on the poverty rate in the Highland Region Regency / City of North Sumatra Province. So it can be concluded that PAD, DAU, DAK and SiLPA simultaneously affect the poverty rate in the Highlands Regency / City Region of North Sumatra Province. The research results show that local original income is one of the factors that influences the level of poverty in the Highlands Regency/City Region of North Sumatra Province. Meanwhile, general allocation funds, special allocation funds and excess budget funding do not have a significant impact on the level of poverty in the Highlands Region of the Regency/City of North Sumatra Province.en_US
