Analisis Perbandingan Pendapatan dan Risiko Pendapatan Pada Usahatani Cabai Merah Keriting (Capsicum annum. L) dengan Sistem Monokultur dan Polikultur (Kasus : Kabupaten Karo, Provinsi Sumatera Utara)

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the comparison of farmers' income with monoculture and polyculture cropping patterns and the income risks that occur in Karo district. The sampling method in this research is a convenient cluster sample. The data analysis methods used are cost, revenue, income analysis, statistical analysis of independent sample t-test, variance, standard deviation and coefficient of variation. The number of samples in this study was 60 farmers consisting of 30 samples of monoculture cropping pattern farmers, 30 farmers with a polyculture planting pattern of curly red chilies with tomatoes and curly red chilies with cauliflower. The results of the research show that the average farmer's income is IDR per 5000 m2 per year with a monoculture planting pattern of IDR 21,773,980, the income of a polyculture planting pattern of curly red chilies with tomatoes is IDR 36,540,734 and a polyculture of curly red chilies with cauliflower is IDR . 29,428,956. The results of the income comparison of the polyculture system show significant differences from the monoculture system.
