Analisis Pengaruh Jumlah Penduduk, Kemiskinan, dan Tingkat Pendidikan terhadap Tingkat Kriminalitas di Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

This study aims to find out how much influence Population, Poverty and Education Level have on the Crime Level in North Sumatra Province in 2019-2022. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The data used is secondary data. This research is a panel data research with a panel data regression analysis method conducted with Eviews 10. The results of this study indicate that the variable Population has a positive and significant effect on the Crime Rate in North Sumatra Province in 2019-2022, while the Poverty variable has a negative and significant effect on the Crime Rate in North Sumatra Province and the Education Level variable has a positive but not significant effect on the Crime Rate 2019-2022 years.
