Pengaruh Dana Perimbangan dan Bantuan Provinsi terhadap Tingkat Pengangguran di Kabupaten Se-Kawasan Dataran Tinggi Bukit Barisan Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of the balance funds and provincial assistance to the unemployment rate in the Regencies of Bukit Barisan Highlands Area of North Sumatra province. This study uses descriptive research with quantitative methods. The amount of data used was 135 observations based on reports on the realization of regional receipts and the open unemployment rate taken from the Central Bureau of Statistics of 9 districts/cities in the period 2006-2020. The study used panel data analysis and hypothesis testing methods performed using the coefficient of determination test (R2), partial significance test (t-test), and simultaneous significance test (F-test). The results showed that sharing revenue funds, general allocation funds, special allocation funds, and financial assistance from province simultaneously negatively and significantly affect the unemployment rate. Meanwhile, the sharing revenue funds, general allocation funds, special allocation funds, and financial assistance from province partially negatively and significantly affect the unemployment rate. The value of the coefficient of determination (R2) in this study is 77.5% and the remaining 22.5% is influenced by other variables outside the independent variables in this study.
