Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the performance in koinobori celebrations and what are the local wisdom contained in koinobori celebrations. This research focuses on the performance of koinobori celebrations and the local wisdom contained in them. The method used in this study is a descriptive method and the collection of data and materials related to this research topic uses the literature method. Koinobori is a koi-shaped flag. The raising of koinobori is done to welcome the celebration of children's festivals. A children's festival is held on May 3 in the city of Kazo. Raising koinobori to wish her son a successful adult. This research focuses on the performance of koinobori celebrations and the local wisdom contained in them. Performance is a concrete and observable manifestation, which is the realization of a competency. Performance at the koinobori festival starts from the ceremony and closes with a stage attraction.
