dc.description.abstract	Ulos is a woven fabric produced by Batak women in the form of a shawl. Ulos Pansamot is Ulos given by the bride's parents to the groom's parents. The purpose of this writing is to know and understand the procedure for giving pansamot ulos an d the meaning of pansamot ulos in Toba Batak marriage. The method used in this writing is descriptive qualitative research, by searching and collecting data from books, journals, the internet and seeking information about Ulos Pansamot from the Toba Batak community. After explaining the procedure and meaning of Ulos Pansamot, the writing found that there are five meanings of Ulos Pansamot in weddings, namely as a symbol of binding, warmth, blessing, life, and symbol of Toba Batak customs.	en_US
