    Abstract
Musculoskeletal Disorders are one of the main causes of disability in nurses in hospitals as a result of the work done by nurses ranging from simple basic handling to complex handling which is done manually and unconsciously with unnatural positions such as standing, bending, twisting and tilting, walking/moving with a load on the activity of pushing the patient which is done repeatedly (repetitive) in a long duration. Workplace Stretching Exercise is a modified stretching exercise as simple as possible so that it can be done by workers in the workplace with the aim of preventing musculoskeletal disorders and diseases caused by repetitive work. This research is a quasi-experiment research with pre-test and post-test group design. The study consisted of three stages, the first was a pre-test of MSDs complaints using the NBM questionnaire, intervention doing workplace stretching exercise, and post-test. Sampling using purposive sampling technique with a total sample size of 21 nurses aged 20-39 years and have a normal body mass index. Workplace Stretching Exercise is done for 5 consecutive days with a duration of 10 minutes. The results showed that the pre-test and post-test data of MSDs complaints had a p-value of 0.000 <0.05, so the hypothesis was accepted. This means that there is an effect of Workplace Stretching Exercise on complaints of musculoskeletal disorders in nurses at the Universitas Kristen Indonesia Hospital, Jakarta. It is expected that nurses continue to routinely do workplace stretching exercise to avoid complaints of MSDs and for the hospital to hold a program to implement workplace stretching exercise to maintain the health of its workers.
