dc.description.abstract | The drug problem has made the world full of worry and anxiety. According to data from World Drugs Reports 2018 published by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), shows 275 million people in the world or 5.6% of the population worldwide (aged 15-64 years) have used drugs. The drug problem in Indonesia is still in a condition that requires high attention. According to BNN 2021, there were 12,890 drug cases until the first quarter of 2021. North Sumatra as a province in Indonesia with the highest number of drug cases, namely 2,049 drug cases. The province that has the highest number of people caught in drugs is also owned by North Sumatra Province, which is 2,661 suspects. Meanwhile, data sourced from BNNP North Sumatra, shows that in 2018 there were 146 cases of drug abuse that occurred in Deli Serdang Regency.The purpose of this study is to find out how the relationship between Knowledge about Drugs and Family Support with the Motivation to Recover Drug Patients at Yayasan Bukit Doa Rumahku in 2023. This type of research is quantitative with Cross Sectional design carried out at Yayasan Bukit Doa Rumahku. A population of 135 drug patients with the Taro Yamane formula received samples of 58 drug patients using Purposive Sampling. The data analysis method uses the Chi Square test with a confidence level of 95% (p < 0.05). The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge about drugs and the motivation to recover drug patients with a significance value of 0.000. Likewise, there is a relationship between family support and the motivation to recover drug patients with a significance value of 0.002. Based on this research, it is expected that drug patients will always have the motivation to recover so that they can undergo rehabilitation properly and reject craving that occurs in them. | en_US |
