Hubungan Pengetahuan dan Motivasi Perawat dengan Pelaksanaan Identifikasi Pasien di Ruang Rawat Inap RSUD Dr.R.M. Djoelham Binjai Tahun 2023

Abstract

Guided by patient safety goals in the 2017 National Hospital Accreditation Standards, it states that one of the patient safety programs is to identify patients who will receive services or treatment. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between knowledge and motivation of nurses with the implementation of patient identification in patient safety in hospitals. Dr.R.M. Djoelham Binjai. This type of analytic survey research used a cross-sectional research design, where data collection for this study was carried out jointly. The research was conducted at the RSUD. Dr.R.M. Djoelham Binjai. The population and sample in this study were 51 nurses. Data analysis was performed with univariate and bivariate. The results obtained were mostly the implementation of identification in patient safety in the Inpatient Room of RSUD Dr.R.M. Djoelham Binjai in the good category were 21 people (41.2%), and some of the respondents who carried out identification in patient safety quite well were 12 people (23.5%). There is no relationship between the level of knowledge of nurses about patient identification in patient safety in the Inpatient Room of RSUD Dr.R.M. Djoelham Binjai and there is a relationship between the level of motivation of nurses regarding patient identification in patient safety in the Inpatient Room of RSUD Dr.R.M. Djoelham Binjai. RSUD Dr.R.M. Djoelham Binjai should be able to improve the quality of nursing services, especially for nurses who act as providers of nursing care. The quality of service is supported by the performance of nurses who are based on good knowledge.
