Karakteristik Pasien Batu Saluran Empedu di RSUP Haji Adam Malik Medan Tahun 2020-2022

Abstract

Introduction. Bile duct stones are hard, pebble-like pieces of material, usually made of cholesterol or bilirubin, that form in your gallbladder. Most bile duct stones have no symptoms. Bile duct stones are associated with the “4F” risk factors (Female, Fat, Forty/Family History, Fertile) Objective. This study aims to determine the characteristics of bile duct stone patients at the Medan HAM Hospital. Method. This research is a descriptive research. The data taken is a secondary data from the medical records of patients diagnosed with Bile duct stones. Results. Of the 237 patients suffering from bile duct stones, most patients were female (57.4%), aged 56-65 years (28.3%), BMI obesity 1 (38.4%), erythrocyte levels is low (men 28.7% and women 33.8%), leukocytosis (50.2%), normal platelet levels (72.2%), hemoglobin levels is low (men 34.6% and women 39.7 %), hematocrit level is low (men 38.8% and women 43.9%), ALT level is high (71.7%), AST level is high (57.8%), albumin level is low (68.8%), bilirubin levels is high (73%), ALP levels is high (79.3%), and LDH levels is high (47.7%). Conclusion. The majority of bile duct stone patients at Haji Adam Malik General Hospital, Medan, are female, aged 56-65 years, BMI obesity 1, erythrocyte, leukocyte, hemoglobin and hematocrit levels above normal, normal platelet levels, ALT, AST, bilirubin, ALP, and LDH above normal, and albumin levels below normal.
