Penerapan Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) dalam Pencegahan Kecelakaan Kerja Karyawan Maintenance Alat Berat di PT Agincourt Resources Tahun 2023

Abstract

PT Agincourt Resources is a company engaged in the exploration, mining and processing of gold and silver bars. One of the activities carried out in the field of mining operations is transportation. In the process of transportation required heavy equipment with a large capacity. The heavy equipment requires repair and maintenance by installing LOTO in order to prevent work accidents by workers. For repair and maintenance work required manpowermaintenance or a trained mechanic. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of LOTO in preventing employee work accidentsmaintenance heavy equipment at PT. Agincourt Resources. This type of research uses a descriptive qualitative method which will be developed by in-depth interviews and observation. This research conducted inworkshop contractor PT. Agincourt Resources with research informants is a teamsafety and mechanics totaling 6 people. The results of this study are that the company has implemented LOTO according to the procedure. Mechanics understand the implementation of this procedure, but there are some workers who do not apply the LOTO procedure, such as during the LOTO installation preparation step. Labels that do not meet the requirements are durable and are not made of materials that can withstand working conditions. Companies are advised to provide supervision to workers so that when carrying out repairs according to the LOTO procedure implemented in the company. It can improve the quality of the label so that it is not damaged and gets wet easily with the quality of the paper material which is durable and the presence of a binder in the form of nylon which is resistant to working conditions.
