    Abstract
    Introduction. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by the dengue virus transmitted through the bite of Aedes sp mosquito. Efforts to reduce DHF incidents include vector control, such as implementing the Mosquito Nest Eradication Program (PSN 3M Plus). The population of Aedes sp mosquitoes is affected by the presence of larvae, measured by larvae Density Figure (DF). Factors affecting mosquito larvae density are their breeding places.Objective. This study aimed to determine the relationship between mosquito breeding places and the mosquito nest eradication behavior (PSN 3M Plus) with the larvae density of Aedes sp in the Tegal Sari Mandala III Urban Village, Medan Denai Sub-district, Medan City. Method. This study used an observational analytic method with a cross-sectional design. The research was conducted in 100 household samples across 15 neighborhoods in Tegal Sari Mandala III Urban Village using a cluster random sampling technique. Data were collected through observation and interviews using a questionnaire. The chi-square test analyzed the relationship between variables with a confidence interval of 95%. Result and Discussion. Based on the research findings, the level of community engagement in mosquito nest eradication program (PSN 3M Plus) was mostly good (57%). The most common containers found with mosquito larvae was buckets (3.2%). The Density Figure of Aedes sp larvae were HI (11%), CI (5%), BI (11%), and ABJ (88%). Density Figure (DF) analysis indicated that the Tegal Sari Mandala III Urban Village is at a moderate level of larvae density. Conclusion. The study revealed the p-value <0.05, indicating no significant relationship between mosquito breeding places and the Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN 3M Plus) behavior with the larvae density of Aedes sp in Tegal Sari Mandala III Urban Village.
