dc.description.abstractA distribution system must have reliability in providing and distributing electrical energy. Electricity quality can be seen by how often blackouts occur and the length of time between blackouts in a certain time. This thesis aims to analyze the impact of installation Distributed Generation (DG) and Reability Network Equivalent Approach Methods (RNEA). on the reliability value of the 20 kV distribution system at PT. PLN UP3 Cengkareng. This research uses ETAP software as a simulation medium. From the research results, in the initial condition the SAIDI value was 1,9026 (hours/customer/year), the SAIFI value was 1,2596 (times/customer/year). The results of the analysis using the RNEA method show that the SAIDI value is 1,8108 (hours/customers/year), the SAIFI value is 1,1678. From the results of DG installation in initial conditions, the SAIDI value is 0,3747 (hours/customer/year) and the SAIFI value is 0,2544 (times/customer/year). Installing DG at the largest load point on the feeder is optimal to increase the reliability of the 20 kV distribution system.en_US
