dc.description.abstract | A tool for detecting filter blockages in pipes using an IoT (Internet of Things) based pressure sensor has been successfully designed and can carry out serial communication between Arduino and Nodemcu. This tool uses a BMP180, Nodemcu, Arduino Uno, TCA9548A, and Blynk pressure sensor. This tool is designed to determine whether there is a filter blockage in the pipe by comparing the air pressure before and after the filter, so that users can easily clean the pipe without having to dismantle the entire pipe when making repairs. This tool will provide notifications to users via the Blynk application which can be accessed by users. Testing of this tool is carried out by providing pressurized air to a pipe that is equipped with a filter. During testing, filters that have been impurities and filters that have not been impurities are used. Test results show that this tool can detect blockages at pressure differences of more than 1 kPa by comparing the pressure before the filter and after the filter. If the filter is clean, there is a small pressure difference of 0.029 kPa. If the filter is dirty, there will be a pressure difference of 6.33 kPa. | en_US |
