Determinan Pemanfaatan Pelayanan Rawat Jalan di Puskesmas Amplas Kecamatan Medan Amplas Tahun 2023
Abstract
Utilization of outpatient services at the Amplas Health Center as FKTP in their
working area tends to be low. The indicator for assessing the utilization of the
Puskesmas as a health service center is by looking at the number of visits by the
community to the Puskesmas. The low number of community visits to the
Puskesmas indicates that the community is not utilizing health services. The
number of utilization visits at the Amplas Health Center from 2018 to 2021 has
decreased, from 72,322 visits to 29,410 visits. This research is a descriptive study
with a cross sectional design. The research objective was to determine the
determinants of the utilization of outpatient services at the Amplas Health Center.
The sample in this study were DM and hypertension patients as many as 87
respondents, the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data
collection was carried out through a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the
chi square test. The results show the value of each variable is education
(p=0.345), employment (p=0.013), suitability of operating hours (0.042), need for
treatment (0.014), age (p=0.224), gender (p=0.371) and JKN membership
(p=0.257). It was concluded that the variables of work, the suitability of the
operational hours of the Puskesmas and the need for medical treatment had a
relationship with the utilization of outpatient services at the Amplas Health
Center. The variables of education, age, gender and JKN membership have no
relationship with outpatient services at the Amplas Health Center. It is suggested
to health workers at the Amplas Health Center to always encourage patients,
especially DM and hypertension patients, to routinely carry out treatment and
health control at the Amplas Health Center.
