Toy products are still consumer goods that are in great demand by the public. Lead (Pb) can enter children's bodies when inhaled, ingested or absorbed by the skin. When the toy paint peels off the particles it is likely to become dust and will stick to the mouth, food and drink. Toys made from rubber and plastic need to be watched out for because there is a possibility of using paint that has high levels of lead (Pb). This study aims to determine the level of lead (Pb) and the level of teacher knowledge as well as teachers' attitudes about educational toys in Medan Labuhan District Kindergarten in 2023.This study is descriptive where the sample population of the study is 15 teachers with total sampling techniques. Samples of educational toys as many as 7 toys tested in the laboratory. The results of the study found that teachers in kindergarten are generally aged ≤ 40 as many as 8 teachers (53.3%), the last education of the most teachers is D3 / S1 as many as 14 teachers (93.3%), all teachers who teach in kindergarten are women (100%), the highest teaching experience is around 1-10 years as many as 6 teachers (40.0%). Teaching in kindergarten class A or B is at most class B as many as 12 teachers (80.0%). For teacher knowledge variables classified as medium as many as 7 teachers (46.7%), good as many as 4 teachers (26.7%) and bad as many as 4 teachers (26.7%), teacher attitude variables classified as good as many as 14 teachers (93.3%) and medium as many as 1 teacher (6.7%). Educational toys tested in the laboratory using AAS (atomic absorption spectrophotometry) tools showed that 100% contained lead (Pb) with a range of 0.22-107.4 ppm. One of the educational toys, the donut ring tower, exceeds the threshold set by SNI, which is 90 ppm. It is recommended to teachers not to buy toys of too flashy colors and parents can also supervise the way children play.en_US
