dc.description.abstractLearning and memory are complex cognitive functions. Memory functions in encoding, storing, and retrieving information which is then stored into short-term memory and long-term memory. This study aims to analyze the effect of nanoherbal Rhodomyrtus tomentosa on cognitive learning and memory functions in mice and to analyze the optimal dose based on the passive avoidance method. This research was conducted using the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method, with 5 groups and 5 animals in each group, consisting of a negative control group given 0.9% normal saline, a positive control group given rutin at a dose of 10 mg/kg BW, and nanoherbal R. tomentosa treatment group with doses T1, T2, and T3 respectively 25 mg/kg BW, 50 mg/kg BW, and 75 mg/kg BW. Treatment was given every day for 7 days prior to the test, and learning and memory activity tests were carried out. The research results show that Nanoherbal Rhodomyrtus tomentosa can improve the cognitive function learning and memory in mice and the optimal dose for improving memory and cognitive learning function in mice is 75 mg/kgBW.en_US
