Gambaran Work-Life Balance pada Ibu yang Bekerja dengan Anak Usia Prasekolah
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to see the description of work-life balance in
general and in terms of its four dimensions in mothers who work with preschool
aged children. The research subjects were mothers who worked with preschool
aged children (3-6 years) at the Medan mayor’s office totalling 52 people who
were taken using non-probability sampling with total sampling, namely a
sampling technique that makes all members of the population as research samples
(Sugiyono, 2019). This research used quantitative research methods with the type
of descriptive research. The measuring instrument used in the form of Likert scale
is the scale of work-life balance that was developed based on the dimensions of
work-life balance according to Fisher, et al (2009). Data analysis method used is
statistical descriptive analysis. The results of the study found that the percentage
of personal life interference with work (PLIW) dimension and the percentage of
work enhancement of personal life (WEPL) dimension is in the same category
namely the high category, while the percentage of work interference with personal
life (WIPL) dimension and the percentage of personal life enhancement of work
(PLEW) dimension is in the same category namely the low category.
