Introduction. COVID-19 originated in the city of Wuhan in December 2019 and rapidly spread to various countries. The initial outbreak occurred in a market that sold a variety of products, including seafood and wild animals. It is crucial to consider whether COVID-19 can have an impact on the growth and development of children. Objective. To find out the developmental description of a child born to a mother with COVID-19 during childbirth. Method. This type of research is an observational descriptive study with a cross-sectional study design. Results and Discussion. Based on the frequency description results of child growth and development, it was found that the majority of children fall within the z-score range of -2 to 0 on the WHO curve. Child development during the COVID-19 period, assessed through the KPSP questionnaire, revealed that 2 individuals (8.7%) showed potential deviations (P), 14 individuals (60.9%) had uncertain development (M), and 7 individuals (30.4%) demonstrated appropriate development (S). Conclusion. There is a possibility of an increased risk of developmental delays in children during COVID-19 compared to before the COVID-19 pandemic; however, there is no difference in terms of growth.en_US
