This study examines the relationship between psychological capital and academic burnout of students who are currently completing their thesis. The questionnaire used consisted of the Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ) scale and the adapted Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS) scale. The subjects of this study were 386 students at various universities in Indonesia. The method used in this study is a quantitative method and data analysis using simple linear regression analysis. The sampling technique used in this study is non-probability sampling, with a purposive sampling method. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a negative relationship between psychological capital and academic burnout in students who are preparing their thesis. Based on the results of this study it was found that there was a significant negative relationship between psychological capital and academic burnout of students who were completing their thesis at a low level with a coefficient value of -0.366. This shows that the higher the psychological capital, the lower the academic burnout of students who are completing their thesis, then the hypothesis in this study is accepted.
