Hubungan Literasi Informasi dan Self-Regulated Learning pada Santri Pesantren Darul Arafah Raya

Abstract

Information literacy is a collection of one's abilities that are mutually integrated in the learning process, including solving problems or solving problems. In carrying out the learning process, a person will experience various obstacles that can affect the results of the study. These obstacles can be overcome with several learning strategies that suit each individual or what we call independent learning. This study aims to see and determine the relationship between information literacy and student self-regulated learning at the Darul Arafah Raya Islamic Boarding School. The method used is quantitative with analysis of the Pearson product momment correlation test. This study has a total sample of 121 students from the Darul Arafah Raya Islamic Boarding School who are in grade 3 at the senior high school level. The measurement tool used in this study is the information literacy scale which is arranged based on the dimensions according to Wolf et al. (2003) and the scale of self-regulated learning which was compiled based on the aspects of self-regulated learning according to Zimmerman (1989). The results in this study indicate that information literacy has a positive relationship with self-regulated learning with a significance value of 0.000. Furthermore, a correlation coefficient value of 0.494 was obtained which shows a fairly strong relationship between the two variables.
