    Abstract
Background. Pressure Injury, also known as a pressure sore, is a frequently occurring health issue in healthcare environments, especially within hospitals. It represents damage to the skin and underlying tissues caused by excessive pressure, friction, or a combination of both, primarily affecting areas of the body subjected to continuous pressure. The primary risk factors for Pressure Injury involve patients' inability to regularly change body positions, a condition that can be exacerbated by specific medical conditions or mobility limitations. In a hospital setting, patients are often confined to beds or wheelchair, increasing the risk of Pressure Injury. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding of risk factors, prevention, and effective management of Pressure Injury is crucial for enhancing the quality of patient care in hospitals. Objective. To understand the prevalence of Pressure Injury in reguler inpatients at RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan from 2020 to 2022. Method. This study employs a descriptive design with a cross sectioal research approach, describing all variables using secondary data from patients' medical records. Results and Discussion.
