Hubungan Tingkat Pengetahuan dan Status Sosial Ekonomi terhadap Kelengkapan Status Imunisasi Dasar
Abstract
Background. Basic immunization is the government's effort to reduce morbidity and mortality in children. However, the completeness of immunization in Indonesia has still not reached the set target. Several factors that influence immunization coverage are knowledge and socio-economic status. Aim. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between level of knowledge and socio-economic status on the completeness of basic immunization status. Method. This research uses a correlation analytical with a cross sectional research design and sampling using a consecutive sampling technique with a total of 121 sampels. The sample for this study was mothers who had babies 9-59 months. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires directly to respondents. Results. Results showed that there was a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and completeness of basic immunization status (p-value: 0.001) and there was no relationship between socio-economic status and completeness of basic immunization status (p-value: 0.246). Conclusion. There was a relationship between the level of knowledge and the completeness of basic immunization status but there was no relationship between socio-economic status and the completeness of basic immunization status.
