Self-regulated learning is an activity where students play an active role in controlling their learning by involving metacognition, motivation and behavior to achieve personal goals.Self-regulated learning influenced by two factors, namely internal and external, one external factor that can influence is the school climate. The aim of this research is to find out how big a role school climate plays inself-regulated learning on Qismul'aly students at Madrasah Aliyah Alwasliyah 12 Perbaungan. This research uses quantitative methods with simple linear regression statistical analysis. The number of participants in this research was 222 engineering studentscluster random sampling. The instrument used is the school climate scale which is prepared based on the dimensions of school climate by Thapa, (2013), and scaleself-regulated learning which is arranged based on aspect=aspectself-regulated learning according to zimmermann (1989). The results of this research data analysis show p (0.001) < 0.05. Then the R score is obtained2 amounting to 0.566, which means that school climate plays a role of 56.6% onself-regulated learning.
