| dc.description.abstract | Psychological well-being is an individual's subjective assessment of themselves,
whether they feel comfortable and peaceful in life so that it will accumulate in a
form of happiness. Meanwhile, self-regulated learning is a strategy used by
students to organize learning activities by involving metacognition, behavior and
motivation in achieving learning goals. In this research, learning is limited to
the process of completing a thesis. A total of 118 students from the Faculty of
Psychology, University of North Sumatra who were working on their thesis were
the samples in the research. The sampling technique used was accidental
sampling, obtained by administering a questionnaire using measuring
instruments and a psychological well-being scale based on Ryff (1989) and a
self-regulated learning scale based on Zimmerman (1986). The statistical
method used in the research is simple linear regression analysis. The results of
data analysis in the research prove that the p value (0.000) < 0.05, so that there
is a role of psychological well-being in self-regulated learning in students at the
Faculty of Psychology, University of North Sumatra who are working on their
thesis. The role of psychological well-being on self-regulated learning is 26.5%. | en_US |
