This research aims to evaluate how effectively Though Student Training to increasing mental toughness of junior high school students. The implementation of the training uses the Though Student Training Module guidelines by Mukhtar et al (2022) as modified by researchers. The training provides knowledge and skills through a series of materials designed for students to become tougher in facing obstacles, challenges, and various sources of stress. This research used quantitative methods with quasi experimental design. The participants in the study included 32 junior high school students who were divided into control group and experimental group based on certain criteria. The results of the Kruskal Wallis Test in the experimental group showed a Chi square value = 17.307, p = .000 < 0.05 while in the control group the Chi square value = .475, p = .789> 0.05, which means that Tough Students Training has a significant effect on the level of mental toughness of students in the experimental group. The effect of Tough Students Training on students is quite large with a value of U = 29, d = 1.03, (55.4%). These results indicate that Tough Students Training is effective to improve mental toughness in students.en_US
