At the Batak Toba wedding there is a tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation called mangulosi. Mangulosi is the process of embedding ulos cloth on the bride and groom from the family which is believed to be a form of guiding sincere prayers for the bride and groom to always live in harmony and happiness. Batak Toba people who have carried out mangulosi are allowed to participate in formal traditional ceremonial activities. This research method uses a sampling technique that is snowball sampling with a total of two respondents. The results of this study indicate that Batak Toba men who carry out mangulosi in marriage show a sense of community towards their community. This is shown by their involvement in the community both in terms of customary implementation and existing deliberations and the desire to be able to meet the needs of the community.en_US
