Abstract
The management of waste in Kemiri market is far from required by the activities made with the production of as much as 9 m3, the garbage farmers are not yet distinguished by the type of trash, are not made of watertight material, are not covered and easily leaked. TPS at the market of the can also remains a vector miss. The behavior of merchant in marketplace may not be as relevant as the knowledge of the traders as garbage containers must not be supplied at all market facilities, the traders' attitude about garbage containers has no cover, and the actions of the merchants who do not replace the garbage containers when they are easily leaked. The study aims to analyze the garbage management system and the behavior of the traders in the marketplace. This kind of research is a descriptive survey. A total of 66 sample samples were taken using the simple random sampling technique. Studies show the female traffickers (59.1%), 40-60 year old merchant 39 (59%), most traders working more than 8 years (77.27%) and (36.36%) the merchants of high school graduate. (75%). The garbage management system of the marketplace in the marketplace consists of the disposal of garbage from each stall, the removal of waste from TPS to trash cans, and the disposal of garbage by discarding the waste from the TPS to the final unsuitable disposal of the sni 19-2454-2002. (75.8%) the merchant still had poor knowledge of the booths that had two doors, (75.8%) the traders' attitude less about the garbage cans had an easy lid to open, and (100%) the merchants' actions did not replace the bin when it leaked. It’s recommended for governments to repair and supplement environmental health facilities in Kemiri markets such as the polling booths required. To the market manager to provide information on good and correct waste management procedures. To keep the market clean by keeping the garbage in place and by providing the containers as needed at each stall.
