Pemodelan Derajat Kesehatan Menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling di Kota Medan Tahun 2020
Abstract
Health degree is one of the important indicators of Healthy Indonesia or an outcome indicator. The description of health degree includes indicators of mortality (death), morbidity (sicknesss), and nutritional status. Based on this, it is necessary to know the factors associated with health degree, namely environmental factors, health behavior, and health services. To determine the relationship between environmental factors, health behavior, and health services with health degree, the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method approach is used. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is a multivariate analysis that can analyze the relationship between variables more fully. This type of research is analytic observational with a cross sectional approach. This study uses SEM which aims to model the degree of public health involving several variables such as environment, health services, health behavior The data used is data on indicators that affect health degree based on sub-districts in Medan City. The results of the study using SEM-PLS analysis obtained a health degree model, namely Health Degree = 0,043 Environment – 0,551 Health Behavior + 0,536 Health Services + . Based on this model, it can be concluded that environmental factors, health behavior, and health services used are proven to have a significant relationship with health degree. The suggestion in this study is that the local government and the community need to work together to improve environmental factors, health behavior and health services so that the health degree will be good, then other sectors such as the education sector and the economic sector will also increase because a good quality of life starts with health.
