Implementasi Program Sanitasi Total Berbasis Masyarakat di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Terjun Tahun 2023

Abstract

Community-based total sanitation (STBM) is an approach to change hygiene and sanitation behavior by triggering sustainable communities. The working area of the Terjun public health center consists of 3 villages and all of them have been socialized and triggered the STBM Program. However, not all communities have implemented the pillars of STBM. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach with the aim of knowing how the implementation of the STBM program in the work area of the Puskesmas Terjun. From the results of the study, it can be seen that the implementation of the STBM program in the Terjun Puskesmas working area is still not optimal. This can be seen from the factor of inadequate resources where the budget allocation in implementing the STBM program is still limited and the promotional media used is only in the form of posters and the room used is classified as narrow in implementing the STBM program. Based on the results of the study, it is expected that there will be an increase in budget allocation and additional educational media related to the STBM program and a room that is not narrow to support the implementation of the STBM program in the Terjun Puskesmas work area.
