Implementasi Program Penanggulangan TB Paru dalam Penemuan Kasus Tuberkulosis di Puskesmas H A H Hasan Kota Binjai Tahun 2023

Abstract

The low number of the tuberculosis case finding in Hasan Public Health Center has resulted in the achievment of CNR (Case Detection Rate) indicators being low in recent years. The achievement of CNR indicators for Hasan Public Health Center is 15,5% (2020), 13,25% (2021). This research aims to find out in depth the implementation the pulmonary tb control program in tuberkulosis cases finding at H.A.H Hasan Public Health center at Binjai City in 2023. The design of this study is qualitative. The study was conducted in February-October 2023. There were 8 research informants who were determined by purposive sampling technique. Data collection is done by in-depth interviews, observations, and document review. Data is processed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions, as well as conducting data analysis by means of source triangulation and method triangulation. The TB case finding in Hasan Public Health Center has been carried out according to Permenkes number 67 in 2021 and this regulation has been socialized, however there are still officers who didn‟t know about the regulation during the interview. The number of health workers is sufficient, but to involve the active role of cadres and the community is not running optimally. Suspect screening activities carried out are more passively focused by waiting for patients at the Public Health Center.The TB case finding at the Hasan Public Health Center has been implemented but was not yet fully optimal. It is hoped that the Hasan Public Health Center can reactivate the role of cadres to assist officers in TB case finding, carry out routine counseling and further maximize the implementation of active suspicious screening.
