Hubungan Beban Kerja Fisik dengan Kelelahan Kerja pada Pekerja Bagian Produksi PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk Deli Serdang Tahun 2023

Abstract

Workers in the production section of PT. Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk. Deli Serdang has quite high work demands which can cause work fatigue. Workfatigue is a state of mental or physical fatigue that can affect the health status of workers. Physical load is a workload that is directly related to production workers because workers use a lot of muscles (blue-collar) when working. This research is an analytical survey with a cross sectional design, aiming to see the relationship bet'vveen the dependent variable (fatigue) and the independent variable (physical workload) of workers in the production department. The sample in this study consisted of 33 workers. Work fatigue was measured using the Hubbard Scientific 6072 reaction timer and physical workload was measured using the % Cardiovascular Load method. Data analysis used the Pearson product moment test with an error rate o.f a = 0. 05. The research results sho111ed that 1vorkfatigue in 111orkers 1vas in the light work fatigue 69.7% (23 people), and moderate work fatigue 30.3% (10 people). The workload experienced by 'vvorkers is in the light category, 15.2% (5 people), and moderate, 84.8% (28 people). The results of statistical tests between physical workload and work fatigue show that there is a relationship between physical workload and work fatigue with the statistical test resitlts having a valite of p = 0.000 < a = 0.05, HO is rejected 111ith a correlation coefficient value of 0.682 which means it is interpreted that the strength between variable at a strong level with a positive relationship direction. For PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk. Deli Serdang to provide a short break every 1-2 hours of work for 5-15 minutes.
