Simulasi Dampak Pembangunan Underpass Jalan Ir.H.Juanda – Jalan Brigjend Katamso terhadap Simpang Apill terdekat menggunakan Software Vissim (Studi Kasus: Simpang Jalan S.M Raja - Jalan Halat, Kec.Medan Maimun Kota Medan )
Abstract
Medan City is one of the metropolitan cities that has a high level of crowds and population density and has many problems, one of which is the transportation system that is still bad, resulting in congestion, delays, and air and noise pollution. This study aims to determine the simulation of intersection performance on the S.M Raja - Halat road before and after the operation of the underpass at the Ir.H.Juanda - Brigjend Katamso road intersection using vissim software.
Data is obtained from traffic survey results such as vehicle volume surveys, road geometrics, APILL cycle times and vehicle speeds. Furthermore, the data processed from the results of vissim software simulation is the length of the queue, delay, and level of service.
For simulation data results at the intersection of S.M Raja – Halat road before the operation of the underpass as follows: north short= (queue length= 134.35 m, delay= 149.59 sec/SMP), south short run= (queue length =158.96 m, delay = 189.10 sec/SMP), west short= (queue length= 41.50 m, delay= 58.66 sec/SMP), east short= (queue length= 33.55 m, delay= 50.41 sec/SMP). For simulation data results at the S.M Raja – Halat road intersection after the operation of the underpass as follows: north short= (queue length= 149.4 m, delay= 158.04 sec/SMP), south short run= (queue length = 177.2 m, delay = 194.87 sec/SMP), west short= (queue length= 178.40 m, delay= 196.35 sec/SMP), east short= (queue length= 37.08 m, delay= 54.12 sec/SMP). So that there are clearly significant differences between before and after the operation of the underpass such as the result of long queues, delays and service levels as in the western quarters which caused new conflicts at the intersection of S.M Raja – Halat road
