Faktor- Faktor ang Mempengaruhi Pemanfaatan Posyandu Lansia di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Simpang Limun Kecamatan Medan Kota

Abstract

A serious form of attention to the elderly is the implementation of services for the elderly through elderly groups (posyandu) which cannot be separated from the role of the elderly who consciously and intelligently follow the government's directions. The average achievement of the posyandu program for the elderly in Medan City has not been achieved in every community health center. The standard of elderly health services is 100% of the elderly registered at the regional health center. Based on data, the utilization of elderly health services at the Simpang Limun Community Health Center is only 3%, very far below the value of elderly health service coverage which should be 100%. Utilization of the elderly posyandu at the Simpang Limun Community Health Center is categorized as very low. The aim of this research is to determine the factors that influence the utilization of posyandu for the elderly in the work area of Simpang Limun Community Health Center, Medan Kota sub-district. This type of research is quantitative research with a cross-sectional study approach. This research was conducted in the Simpang Limun Community Health Center working area with a sample of 87 respondents. The research instrument uses a questionnaire using multiple linear regression tests. Based on the research results, there is an influence of knowledge on the use of posyandu for the elderly with a significance value of p-value (0,010) < 0,050. There is an influence of family support with p-value (0,036) < 0,050. There is an influence of motivation with p-value (0,040) < 0,050. There is an influence of the role of cadres with p-value (0,042) < 0,050. It can be concluded that there is an influence of knowledge, family support, motivation and the role of cadres in the use of elderly posyandu in the work area of Simpang Limun Community Health Center, Medan Kota District.
