    Abstract
Medical tourism is a service provided by countries with advantages in health services to increase the country's foreign exchange. Hospitals that are used as medical tourism health facilities will provide health services offered in accordance with the location of the hospital's superiority. Among types of health services provided, one of the most visited services is Medical Check-Up (MCU). Many countries are making MCU as their superior service, creating competition that will be influenced by the preferences of the global community as well. Preferences studies fundamental aspects of individual choice behavior, such as how to identify and measure individual preferences over a set of alternatives, and how to construct appropriate preference representation functions for decision making. Therefore, identifying sustainable criteria for medical tourism destinations and prioritizing destinations can help patients to choose destinations tailored to their needs. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. This research is aimed at finding out Indonesian people's preferences for medical tourism for Medical Check Up services in 2023. The population in this study are people who live and are Indonesian citizens. The sample in this study was Indonesian people who had received Medical Check Up services in other countries, totaling 30 respondents. This research uses the Conjoint Analysis method. The results showed that respondents preferred to choose health services with stimuli-11 as many as 11 people (36,7%) in the form of costs with cheap and plentiful medicine prices, information on the availability of special hospital transportation, a good hospital image as a guarantee, the reliability of friendly workers, and facilities containing sophisticated equipment. It is hoped that these results will be a consideration for adjusting service standards to community preferences, especially superior services for medical tourism.
