dc.description.abstractCancer is one of the most common diseases in the world, namely 18.1 million cases with a death rate of 9.6 million, 11.6% of which are caused by breast cancer and 6.6% death rate. Adolescents are a strategic target in efforts to prevent the occurrence of cancer. breast. Teenagers are involved in the learning process so that it is easier to absorb knowledge. Knowledge is an important domain in shaping human cell action. Education to increase students' knowledge and attitudes is assisted by media. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of SADARI monopoly media and animation video on students’ behavior about SADARI at SMAN 2 Lubuk Pakam. This research is a quasiexperimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The research was carried out at SMAN 2 Lubuk Pakam. The research sample of SMAN 2 Lubuk Pakam students was 40 people and data collection used a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon rank test. The results of the research test showed differences in the mean value of knowledge before (16.25) and after (17.75) ) given SADARI monopoly media intervention with p=0.000, students' attitudes before (48.65) and after (50.75) with p=0.000, and students' actions before (5.75) and after (7.05) given SADARI monopoly media intervention with p=0.000 then there was also a difference in the mean value of knowledge before (16.30) and after (17.30) students' attitudes before (47.90) and after (49.35 being given animation video media intervention) with p=0.000 and students' actions before (4.40) and after (6.25) being given animation video media intervention with p=0.000. The difference in the means value of knowledge, attitudes and actions of respondents who received SADARI monopoly media wa higher compared to respondents who received animation video animation. The conclusion is that there is an influence of SADARI monopoly media and animation video on students' behavior about SADARI at SMAN 2 Lubuk Pakam.en_US
