dc.description.abstract | According to the IDF (International Diabetes Federation) mention the Indonesian state is on alert for type-2 diabetes mellitus which ranks 7th. The results of basic health research state that diabetes mellitus shows a comparison of the prevalence of diabetes mellitus with the prevalence of people > 15 years. Covid-19 cases in Indonesia were 76,981 cases, 36,689 recovered cases and 3,656 cases of death and cases of comorbid patients.this study aims to find the relationship between dietary compliance during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Medan Sunggal Health Center. this research is a cross-sectional quantitative study using a total sampling technique and using the chi-square test. It was found that out of 25 people (50%) it was said that respondents who had family support for dietary adherence (0.422), respondents for self-motivation for dietary compliance (0.043), respondents who were confident with dietary compliance (0.403) respondents who participated in nutrition (0.01). Based on the level analysis looking for a relationship between dietary adherence during the Covid-19 pandemic, the correlation value of dietary compliance during the pandemic is related (0.001). It is suggested in the effort to manage type-2 diabetes mellitus program with 2 ways to optimize work/counseling about diabetes mellitus, the importance of maintaining a diet, providing nutritional counseling to people with type-2 diabetes mellitus. | en_US |
