dc.description.abstractThis study is entitled Communication Behavior of Bangtan Sonyeondan in Armyels Community as The Audiences of “Butter” Music Video in Medan. The purpose of this study is to determine verbal and nonverbal communication behavior and media use in the Armyels community as audiences for the BTS “Butter” music video in the city of Medan. The research used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The determination of informants was determined through a purposive sampling technique with a total of eight informants, namely: five informants who were members of the Armeyels community and two friends who were members of the Armyels community as triangulation informants. The data collection technique used in-depth interviews and triangulation of informants. Results about the research shows that the communication of BTS fans who come from the Armyels community has the behavior of commenting, discussing, shouting, singing, showing expressions, dancing, clapping, laughing, sharing Music Video on social media, hunting for hate comments, downloading music videos, and looking for song translations.en_US
