dc.description.abstract | Violence is a form of deviant behavior that often occurs in society. In Indonesia, violence itself is still considered a taboo subject. People who accept violence are considered as children who are not considered good at taking care of themselves. Violence often uses physical strength and power to threaten child victims of violence which causes harm to children. In this study the authors wanted to see how the map of violence that occurred to children in the community in Pasar Sibuhuan Village, Barumun District, Padang Lawas Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Determination of informants using interview techniques, interviewing 10, namely 9 key informants and 1 additional informant presenting data focused on Michel Foucalt's theory of power relations. In fact, there are still many definitions of violence against children that are developing in the current era of globalization. But in this case, the research results show that the map of violence that occurs in children includes physical, psychological and verbal violence. Violence occurs because of a system of power possessed by the perpetrator. and there were three moments of violence against children, namely, the practice of violence, the motivation for violence and the Discourse on the Child Protection Act. The meaning that arises from this violence is an expression of the perpetrator's desire to be recognized as someone who has the power to be able to control children. the forms of treatment received by children as victims of violence are very diverse both from the social environment and also from the family. Not least they get discrimination and also a negative label from the people around them. | en_US |
