dc.description.abstractOccupational health and safety issues are a very serious main concern in project implementation. Risks associated with the complexity of the work and lack of project control can have a negative impact on development. Therefore, the aim of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) risk management is to create a safe, efficient and productive work environment and prevent work accidents. This research aims to identify K3 risks, assess K3 risks, and overcome K3 risks in the use of dump trucks in the Lau Simeme Dam construction project. The method used in this research is qualitative, by observing and interviewing workers to collect data. The research results show that there are 36 risks that have the potential to become work accidents. Based on the K3 risk assessment, there are 17 activities with high risk, 8 activities with medium risk, and 11 activities with low risk. However, there is no risk of extreme work accidents on the Lau Simeme Dam construction project. This is caused by inspections carried out by the K3 team and other teams before starting work to prevent unwanted incidents. To improve K3 risk management in this project, more effective steps are needed to reduce the risk of work accidents. It is hoped that this research can provide useful recommendations in developing better K3 risk management strategies on future construction projectsen_US
