dc.description.abstractThis research aims to determine the growth of production in the food crop sub-sector and determine the food crop commodities that are the basis in Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. The determination of the research area done by using Purposive method. The method of this research is Location Quotient method. The results obtained show that all commodities in the food crop sector (rice,corn,cassava,soybeans and green beans) in 2022 will experience an increase in production. However, only cassava will reach the highest production level in 2022 compared to previous years (2018-2022) and the basic commodities are cassava and green beans. Efforts can be made are that the people of Serdang Bedagai Regency should have an awareness and a participation in realizing government programs to improve welfare through increasing production, productivity and quality in the agricultural sector.en_US
