Evaluasi Program Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUBE) terhadap Kesejahteraan Keluarga Penerima Manfaat di Kelurahan Belawan Bahari, Kecamatan Medan Belawan

Abstract

Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUBE) is a program that aims to increase the income and social welfare of its beneficiary families. This research was conducted in Belawan Bahari Village, Medan Belawan District which aims to evaluate the Medan City Social Office Joint Business Group (KUBE) program carried out in Belawan Bahari Village, Medan Belawan District, which has gone through the stages of exploration or socialization, training, provision of goods assistance as well as the monitoring and evaluation stage. The key informants of this study were the Head of Social Empowerment and Handling of the Poor and the Secretary of Belawan Bahari Sub-District, Medan Belawan District, the main informants were the administrators of either the Chairman, Secretary or Treasurer of each KUBE along with 2 KUBE Members and additional informants namely the Expert Staff of the Social Service of North Sumatra Province. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods, then the theory used is the theory of evaluation of the CIPP program (context, input, process, product) by Stufflebeam. The results of this study are in the four evaluation points, context evaluation with elements of program targets and opportunities in meeting needs successfully implemented, input evaluation and process evaluation have not been successfully implemented and overall the Joint Business Group (KUBE) program remains continued because it provides benefits for its beneficiaries by fulfilling assistance in the form of goods requested by KUBE.
