Analisis Keberhasilan Belajar Mahasiswa Penerima Beasiswa Bank Indonesia di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Sumatera Utara
Abstract
Educating the nation is one of the country's goals. Through education is an effort to be able to realize the country's goals and carry out nation building through human resources. However, in reality, not all Indonesian children can experience proper education and study comfortably due to economic problems. Therefore, the government and several agencies through scholarship programs provide solutions for Indonesian children to continue their education to a higher level. Bank Indonesia also took part in this, Bank Indonesia provides scholarships to students throughout Indonesia in the form of financial assistance in the hope that students can carry out their learning activities comfortably so that they can have good learning success. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of North Sumatra. The purpose of this research is to find out how the learning success of students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at the University of North Sumatra as recipients of Bank Indonesia scholarships. The informants involved in this study consisted of key informants, namely 1 administrator of the Bank Indonesia scholarship recipient community, namely the chairman of BPH GENBI SUMUT, 6 main informants, namely students who received Bank Indonesia scholarships at FISIP USU, and 2 additional informants, namely 1 parent of scholarship recipient students and 1 study program staff at FISIP USU. Data collection was done by observation, interview, and documentation. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. To answer the research problem, the theory of learning success factors by Burhanuddin was used.
