dc.description.abstractLettuce plants are one of the plant commodities that have a high economic value and are more and more interested in various communities. Because of the development of science and technology, there are many ways used to maximize the cultivation of lettuce plants. One of the basic necessary to maximize the cultivation of lettuce plants is to know how much the value of water lettuce plants need and how much the value of evapotranspiration lettuce plants. This research aims to find out how much water is needed by lettuce plants. The results showed different daily evapotranspiration values were quite significant. The highest value of evapotranspiration in March, amounted to 4.59 mm/day, and the smallest in April, amounted to 0.94 mm/day. Meanwhile, the value of water requirements of lettuce plants is 0-20 HST, the value of Etc is 2.26 mm/day, at 20-40 HST is 3.17 mm/day, and at 40-61 HST mounted to 3.35 mm/day.en_US
