Abstract
Social responsibility is one of the government's efforts to balance economic growth through community empowerment and development programs. With this corporate social responsibility program run by large companies, it can help the community both in the social and environmental fields. The concept of sustainable development also recognizes that natural resources are part of the ecosystem. In order to balance the existence of natural resources with economic activities, environmentally sound development is needed. It is clear that the realization of harmonization between economic development and the preservation of the environment and resources are two main things that need attention. Thus, the development carried out is not only useful for the present but can be sustainable for the future. PTPN IV Adolina has carried out corporate social responsibility towards the environment since the company was founded. The company processes palm oil production waste to keep the environment stable. Waste is one that can cause environmental pollution. This is because the factory directly disposes of the waste generated from the processing of materials or industry onto vacant land, into the river, regardless of the compounds contained in the waste. Before carrying out factory waste management, estimates must be made to minimize environmental pollution. The purpose of this study is to find out Corporate Social Responsibilities for Sustainable Production Waste Management of PTPN IV Adolina. The method used in this study is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques for library research, observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that PTPN IV Adolina has carried out corporate social responsibility towards the environment through sustainable production waste management.
