    Abstract
    Employee Performance is the results achieved by employees in carrying out their duties by the responsibilities assigned according to certain criteria. It is believed that leadership style and work discipline will influence the performance of Dairi Regency Population and Civil Registration Service employees in achieving agency goals. The higher the leadership style and work discipline, the higher the performance of the Dairi Regency Population and Civil Registration Service employees. This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of leadership style on employee performance, the influence of work discipline on employee performance, and the influence of leadership style and work discipline on employee performance at the Population and Civil Registration Service of Dairi Regency. The research method used in this research is descriptive research using quantitative analysis. The population used in this research is all employees of the Population and Civil Registration Service of Dairi Regency. The sampling technique in this study used a saturated sample technique with a population equal to the sample size, namely 40 respondents. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires in the form of a list of questions. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing (T-test and F-test) with the help of the SPSS 25 program. The data validity test uses Pearson Correlation and the reliability test uses Cronbach Alpha. All questions were declared valid and reliable. The results of this research show that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Population and Civil Registration Service of Dairi Regency as indicated by the Sig value. of the leadership, style variable is 0.009 < 0.05 and count 2.746 > t-table 2.026 which means Ha is accepted. Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Dairi Regency Population and Civil Registration Service employees with a value of Sig. Of 0.000 < 0.05 and t-count 4.663 > t-table 2.026 then Ha is accepted. The contribution of leadership style and work discipline to employee performance is 44.2%.
