dc.description.abstractSchool climate is a reflection of the experiences of students, school personnel and parents in school life socially, emotionally, ethically and academically. A conducive school climate is a comfortable, pleasant, and dynamic environment that can support the effectiveness of educational activities. Several studies in both developed and developing countries over three decades show that a conducive school climate has a positive relationship to the effectiveness and productivity of the teaching and learning process. This study aims to look at the description of the school climate at SMK NEGERI X Medan. This study uses quantitative research methods that are descriptive in nature. The number of samples was 260 people using sampling techniques, namely non-probability with accidental sampling type. The test used in this study used univariate test. The results showed that the description of the school climate in SMK Negeri X Medan was in the positive category of 220 students (84.6%). It is hoped that this research can be an evaluation of the school and be able to improve things that need to be improved such as the lack of some facilities at SMK Negeri X Medan.en_US
